Crystal clear beaches, beautiful bays and the sun compose the picture of Sarti. Sarti is opposite Agio Oros, and is found after Sikia. In the Byzantine era it is named Sartis, land belonging to the Monastery Xilopotamou of Agio Oros. The present village was founded by Greek refugees from the Sea of Marmara in 1922. Life in Sarti during summer is enchanting, with rich night life.The traditional festival on the 15th of August is a unique experience. |
