Situated on the south east section of the area and is a settlement by refugees from Asia minor. It is built on a slope on the east bank of the river Havria, at a distance of 5 km from Ormilia. Its name comes from the monastery Vatopedi of Mount Athos which is where it was established but is now alienated. The settlement till 1971 held a separate community. Today its population is few residents (about 300 people - year 2002).
